The system can be programmed so that the persons' credentials will no longer be identified after a certain day and time. You might wonder how a person is recognized with this type of system. The system has a reader, which recognizes the code or characteristic it reads. The information is scanned and sent directly to a sensor. Once the sensor positively identifies the characteristics it will allow the person entry into a restricted area. Controlled access is especially beneficial in large government buildings and for people who have businesses which call for a level of security above the norm. It is more expensive to have an access control system, but most people will admit it is worth every dime to have this type of security.
